PM Surya Ghar · Manipur

₹85,800 off your rooftop solar. We handle the entire application.

The national portal, MSPDCL feasibility, the net meter, the inspection, the subsidy claim — all of it is ours. You give us your electricity bill and your Aadhaar-linked bank details.

Rooftop solar from ₹17,900 up front. The bank funds the rest.

That is the margin money on a 3 kW system — 10% of the cost, and the only cash you need at the start. Interest from 5.75% a year, tenure up to 10 years, and the ₹85,800 subsidy is later credited to your loan account and reduces what is outstanding. We prepare the file with you.

A 3 kW on-grid system

₹1,79,000 ₹93,200

after the ₹85,800 central subsidy

The subsidy is credited straight to your bank account by DBT, usually within two months of commissioning and often sooner. It is not a discount we hold back — it is money the government sends you.

Prices effective 24 July 2026. Your roof may need a different size; we will tell you which after the assessment. PM Surya Ghar closes on 31 March 2027.

Example — a 3 kW system on a loan

Check this before you apply

Six things decide whether the subsidy can reach you. If one of them is wrong, the national portal rejects the transfer — often after the system is already on the roof.

Not sure about one of these? That is exactly what the free assessment is for. We check the documents before anything is filed.

Questions people ask us

Can I pay in EMI?

Yes. Banks lend against PM Surya Ghar systems at roughly 5.75% to 11%, with a tenure of up to 10 years. You put in margin money at the start — 10% of the system cost up to ₹2 lakh, 20% above that — and the subsidy is paid straight to the bank, which reduces the loan rather than coming to you. The margin money is the only cash you need on day one. Processing fees vary by bank. We prepare the loan file with you.

What does a system actually cost?

A 3 kW on-grid system is ₹1,79,000, so ₹93,200 after the ₹85,800 subsidy. Bigger systems cost more. Prices effective 24 July 2026. If you want the size and cost worked out for your own bill, our calculator does it in one question.

What does a system actually cost?

A 3 kW on-grid system is ₹1,79,000 — ₹93,200 if you pay outright, after the ₹85,800 subsidy. On a loan you pay the 10% margin money, ₹17,900 on that system, and the bank funds the rest at interest from 5.75% a year over a tenure of up to 10 years. The subsidy is later credited to your loan account and reduces the outstanding. Bigger systems cost more and can be financed the same way; margin money is 10% of the cost up to ₹2 lakh and 20% above that. Prices effective 24 July 2026, and processing fees vary by bank. If you want the size and cost worked out for your own bill, our calculator does it in one question.

How long does the whole thing take?

Once MSPDCL approves the application, the installation itself takes a few days. The subsidy is credited within two months of commissioning, and often sooner.

What happens during a power cut?

An on-grid system shuts down during an outage — that is a safety requirement, so nobody is working on a line the system is still feeding. A hybrid system adds a battery and keeps your essential loads running through the cut. Both are available under the scheme. Tell us how often your area loses supply and we will recommend the right one.

What if my roof is not suitable?

We will tell you, and that is the end of it. The assessment is free and there is nothing to sign. We would rather lose a sale than put a system somewhere it will underperform for twenty-five years.

Who looks after it afterwards?

Our own Imphal team. Panels are low-maintenance — rinsing off the dust every few weeks is usually enough — and the people who installed your system are the people who answer the phone.
