Kalyan Ashram Manipur is a non-profit organisation working primarily in the domains of tribes, sports, education and art & culture. We were approached to install a 20 kW grid-connected rooftop solar PV plant at their Imphal office, to meet their energy requirements from solar.

After a site survey by our team and a detailed consultation — where we understood their needs and expectations better, and discussed the benefits the system would realistically deliver — a 10 kW grid-connected rooftop solar PV plant was installed instead. Sizing the system to what the building actually consumes matters more than sizing it to what was first asked for.

This plant was installed with subsidy assistance from the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, available through its nodal agency in Manipur — MANIREDA (Manipur Renewable Energy Development Agency). We were an empanelled firm of MANIREDA for rooftop PV installations in Manipur.

Building on years of experience delivering rooftop solar projects across Manipur, Eartheners is now an empanelled vendor of MSPDCL for the implementation of grid-connected rooftop solar in Manipur under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. Through the scheme, eligible households can access government subsidies while benefiting from professional system design, quality installation and long-term technical support from a trusted local solar partner.
